FlyMontserrat is to resume its service between Antigua and Barbuda from Monday 30th March.

FlyMontserrat is delighted to have entered into an agreement with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda to fly two scheduled flights every day between the twin Islands of Antigua and Barbuda.

The Montserrat-based airline FlyMontserrat is taking over the Antigua to Nevis route with effect from today.

LIAT pulled off the route earlier in the month and FlyMontserrat is delighted to replace them, in a contract negotiated with the Nevis Island Administration to provide twice daily services, five days a week using its Islander aircraft.

FlyMontserrat has listened to its customers’ feedback and is making ALL its new bookings changeable. Although passengers liked the cheaper fares FlyMontserrat offered, they did not like them to be non-changeable.

So FlyMontserrat is offering fares at the same cheap prices as before, but is making ALL its new current fares changeable.

FlyMontserrat is offering low Summer Special fares to and from Antigua – available from this Wednesday 23rd May until July.

FlyMontserrat’s summer specials cost EC$186 (US$69) plus taxes on seats both in and out of Montserrat.

The Montserrat-based airline FlyMontserrat has set its fares and timetable for the new service between Antigua and Nevis.

Bookings can now be made on the web for the new daily service which begins on the 4th June using Islander aircraft with 9 seat capacity.

FlyMontserrat celebrated 16 months of scheduled services into Montserrat on Saturday (2 April) by carrying its 10,000th passenger.

Loralyn Fergus, travelling with baby Diera, arrived from Antigua on flight 805 at 11.20am to be greeted by Fly Montserrat’s Managing Director, Nigel Harris. Loralyn, from St Peter’s, was presented with a bottle of champagne so she could join in the festivities.

FlyMontserrat announces an increase in the number of flights and that reservations can now be made until February 27th 2011. From October 1st 2010, the number of scheduled return flights offered by FlyMontserrat between Montserrat and Antigua will be increased to four (4). From December 16th, 2010 this number will increase to five (5) daily return flights.

FlyMontserrat is proud to announce the launch of its first scheduled flight service between Montserrat and Antigua.

The Government of Montserrat has approved the service which offers one return flight per day from the 1st to the 15 December 2009, and thereafter two return flights every day.

In collaboration with the Government of Montserrat (GOM), Fly Montserrat has delivered an air ambulance stretcher kit to Montserrat.

The air ambulance stretcher kit will provide a significant level of improvement to medical facilities and services in Montserrat.

Montserrat Airways Ltd was issued its Air Operators Certificate today by Air Safety Support International (ASSI), the UK overseas Civil Aviation Authority. 

That means that Montserrat Airways has met the highest standards of air safety and operations and that the aircraft and personnel meet those high standards.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes with FlyMontserrat.  We are finishing the items listed in the news items.  The aircraft is being ferried from Canada to Montserrat as you read this.  It left Canada on Friday, should arrive Anguilla on Monday for final bits of regulatory process (two days worth) and then on to Montserrat sometime mid week.  The aircraft and crew arrived in Tallahassee, Florida late Sunday evening.

"Our new Islander, registered appropriately VP-MNI, is currently being surveyed by our Regulator in Vancouver.  Once it receives its Montserrat Certificate of Airworthiness it will move across to the nearby paint shop.

Here it will be stripped and repainted in it's new exciting FlyMontserrat livery.
